Performance and Development Review (PDR)
The University participates in annual Performance Development Reviews (PDR) for all staff (with the exception of clinical staff), which provides an opportunity for staff and their line manager to reflect upon their performance and development in the last year and agree objectives and development plans for the forthcoming year.
Newly appointed staff should have objectives set until the end of the relevant PDR period in order to integrate them to the process.
Performance ratings should be provided for all staff, including those who have completed their probationary period within the review year in question.
