New Research from ICAMS Published in Lancet Public Health

 ICAMS Researchers Dr Carlos Celis-Morales  and Professor Jason Gill along with researchers from Institute of Health and Wellbeing have published a report in the Lancet Public Health.The study examinine whether deprivation modifies the association between an extended score of lifestyle-related risk factors & health outcomes.

Combinations of lifestyle factors, including smoking and alcohol and their effect on health and their role in increasing mortality are well documented however additional effects of emegring factors such as television viewing time are not. The effect of socioeconomic deprivation on these extended lifestyle risks also remains unclear. The researchers aimed to examine whether deprivation modiefies the association between an extended score of lifestyle- related risk factors and health outcomes.
