Investigating the effects of one-minute of resistance exercise per day on muscle strength.

Volunteers wanted!

We are recruiting for a study that wants to determine the effects of one minute of resistance exercise a day on muscle strength (i.e. weight lifting or resistance bands). We are looking for adults between 18 - 65 years old with an inactive lifestyle behaviour and that are able to do physical activity.

Participants assigned to the exercise group will be asked to do a 12-week home-based resistance exercise programme, involving one minute of one exercise a day for six days a week. Participants assigned to the control group will have the opportunity to do the exercise programme after the study period. Participants will receive feedback regarding their body composition and muscular fitness.
