Biography

Prior to joining the University, I worked in the third sector in both digital specialist and management positions. In my current role, I am responsible for the strategic development and delivery of a range of communications activities across all channels and media, print and digital, for both the MRC/CSO Social and Public Health Sciences Unit and its externally funded projects.

I chair the Institute of Health and Wellbeing's Athena SWAN group for Professional Services staff and in 2019/20 I attended Aurora, a women-only leadership programme run by Advance HE to develop higher education leaders of the future.

I am currently on project teams for externally-funded research networks, including TRIUMPH (UKRI) and PHASE (UKPRP). I am particularly interested in co-production methods and have exprerience in facilitating design-led workshops.

I enjoy working on creative projects - whether it is filming and editing video, animating, illustrating or building websites. I am an Adobe Certified Associate in Illustrator, and proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign and Photoshop.
