Grace is currently a research associate, working within the complexity in health programme and providing research support across a number of projects. She is a statistician for the cardiac rehabilitation Cochrane review centre.
Grace holds a BSc in Mathematics and Sport and Exercise Sciences and an MSc in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation from the University of Chester, and a PhD in Medical Studies from the University of Exeter. In her PhD research she investigated the effect of cardiac rehabilitation on physical activity levels of patients with heart failure, and developed improved methods to estimate physical activity intensity using accelerometers in heart failure patients.
She is experienced in quantitative research methods, using accelerometry to measure physical activity, cardiac rehabilitation and systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
