PhD title: Development of a lifestyle intervention for adults with bipolar disorder.
Natalie is currently undertaking a PhD funded by the Medical Research Council. The focus of her research is developing a weight management intervention for adults with bipolar disorder. Natalie has completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and an MSc in Forensic Psychology both from Glasgow Caledonian University, and an MRes in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Strathclyde. Prior to beginning her PhD she worked in forensic mental health, as a research assistant and a trainee forensic psychologist, across a number of different institutions including the NHS and University of Edinburgh. Natalie recently completed an internship with Scottish Government working on the “opt out” organ donation policy. Natalie is part of the Unit's Complexity programme.
