Women in academia may be losing out salary-wise because they are focussing on tasks that go unrewarded (e.g. admin and caring/nurturing activities) - Say "menopause" three times a day, academics urged
Staff at University of Leicester are being encouraged to use the word "menopause" several times a day to help remove the taboo and make it easier for affected colleagues to talk about the impact of their symptoms, and request reasonable adjustments to make their working lives a little easier. - Call for all university staff to get training in suicide prevention
All university staff who deal with students should receive training in suicide intervention and prevention, according to a new guideline published by Universities UK and the youth suicide prevention charity Papyrus. - Report denounces all male panels at top global conferences
