The response from schools has been really positive, with 78 schools joining the network to date - 30 primary and 48 secondary schools from Shetland to Gretna.

SHINE is part of the MRC funded Mental Health Data Pathfinder award (PI Professor Danny Smith www.gla.ac.uk/mhdp) and researchers from the University of Glasgow (SPHSU) and University of St Andrews are inviting schools to take part in the pilot study. The aim of SHINE is to support improvements in health and wellbeing amongst school-aged children by building a collaboration between schools, researchers and policy-makers.
