Congratulations to Professor Jill Pell on the completion of her Paris to Nice cycle ride over the Alps to raise funds for Marie Curie!

Jill Pell on cycle ride from Paris to Nice 2019Many congratulations to Professor Jill Pell on the completion of her Paris to Nice cycle ride over the Alps - a total of 8 days, 666 miles and 11 cols (very big hills)!

Of her epic journey, Jill commented:

I really enjoyed it in spite of lots of hills, baking hot sun and a sore derriere. Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far. If you would like to sponsor me, but haven’t so far, the proceeds go to Marie Curie who support terminally ill patients and their families; a really good cause.
