What is IHAWKES?
IHAWKES is a network of postgraduate research students and early-career researchers at the Institute of Health and Wellbeing (IHW), University of Glasgow. Our name, IHAWKES, is an acronym for Institute of Health and Wellbeing Knowledge Exchange Students.
The IHAWKES blog was established in June 2014 by postgraduate researchers studying with IHW as a way to broadcast the research being conducted by PhD and ECRs within the institute. We hope to promote engagement with the research our members are conducting. We use our twitter page to announce new posts so you can keep up to date by following out handle @IHAWKES1.
If you are interested in becoming a contributor we would love to hear from you. Additionally we welcome guest contributions from individuals in Glasgow and beyond so please get in touch with us if you have an idea for a blog post. You can contact Lauren Gatting at: firstname.lastname@example.org
