Digital personal child health records: re-engineering the delivery of public health screening

Siobhán O’Connor is a lecturer at the School of Health and Social Care, Edinburgh Napier University. She is undertaking her doctoral degree in General Practice and Primary Care at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Professor Frances Mair and Professor Catherine O’Donnell. Her PhD research focuses on the health informatics field where she can apply her extensive multidisciplinary background in both nursing and information systems. More specifically her PhD is exploring engagement and enrolment in digital health (eHealth) and the barriers and facilitators experienced by patients, carers, health professionals and those implementing the technology during these implementation processes. Her doctoral research incorporates a systematic review and a qualitative exploratory case study focusing on the Delivering Assisted Living Lifestyles at Scale (Dallas) programme funded by Innovate UK (https://connect.innovateuk.org/web/dallas).
