ICS Seminar on CRISPR by Adam West - Friday 12th February 2016
Issued: Tue, 22 Sep 2015 10:39:00 BST
Adam will present unpublished work from his team looking at the human transcription factor VEZF1. VEZF1 was originally found to function at chromatin boundaries by regulating DNA methylation. New whole genome analyses and CRISPR nickase experiments now reveal unexpectedly broad roles for VEZF1 at promoters and enhancers. Current progress in developing novel enabling CRISPR effector and knock-in technologies will be presented.
