Pint of Science 2019

It was that time of the year again. Half a year of organisation and preparation resulted in three fun filled evenings of fascinating science presented in pubs all around the world. Miriam Scarpa and Sarah Hesse from the Tobin/Bradley group were involved in organizing the Glasgow events for the “Beautiful Mind” theme. The events held at The Butterfly and Pig between May 20th and 22nd covered a breath of topics including schizophrenia, social robotics, face and giftedness research. All three events were well attended and both speakers and attendees seemed to enjoy the talks, quizzes, science-art competitions and meeting a robot.

Pint of Science is an annual event bringing scientists and the public together in our favourite place – pubs. If you would like to get involved next year, please contact s.hesse.1@research.gla.ac.uk.
