The Institute of Molecular, Cell & Systems Biology received an Athena Swan Silver Departmental Award in November 2020

The Equality Challenge Unit's Athena Swan Charter was established in 2005 to recognise and promote the careers of women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM). The Institute of Molecular, Cell & Systems Biology is committed to tackling gender inequalities in higher education and promoting equality and opportunity in its activities.
