The effects of prenatal nutrition on reproductive function. In collaboration with Dr Jane Robinson (IBAHCM), Dr Jacqueline Wallace and Clare Adam University of Aberdeen, Rowett Institute for Nutrition and Health we are looking at the effects of prenatal nutrition on the activities of the growth and reproductive axes using sheep as an animal model.   Both under and over nutrition during pregnancy can have significant detrimental effects on foetal growth using animal models developed by Dr Wallace we are currently investigating the effects that such developmental stress may have had on the development of the reproductive and stress axes.
