Epidemiology

We have a diverse group of researchers working in epidemiology, from molecular and comparative epidemiologists to mathematical biologists and population ecologists. Our strength in this‌‌ area lies in our ability to bring all of these perspectives to bear on complex questions related to disease transmission dynamics. We have a particular focus on zoonotic diseases (diseases that can be transmitted between animals and people) and our goal is to develop evidence to support disease control strategies.

The theme leader for Epidemiology is Professor Ruth Zadoks.
