Research interests

I am a Research Fellow in land ice altimetry at the University of Leeds, working in the NERC Centre for Polar Observation and Modelling.

I primarily use satellites to study the Antarctic and Greenland ice sheets, with a focus on satellite radar altimetry, which maps changes in ice height over time.

I am also interested in measuring the ice sheet contribution to the mean global sea level and understanding the human impacts of sea level rise. As well as studying the ice sheets themselves, I am interested in developing techniques in altimeter processing and validating satellite measurements.
