Research interests

I am a University Academic Fellow in Modelling Food Security and Climate Impacts, in a joint position at the University of Leeds and the UK Met Office.

I use environmental sensors, process-based modelling and spatial analysis in multiple scales to assess the impact of land use, land management and climate change on the sustainability of food systems.

I am affiliated with the Priestley International Centre for Climate at the University of Leeds and the Met Office Hadley Centre for Climate Science and Services, and have extensive experience in the area of climate impacts in agriculture.

As an agronomist and soil scientist specializing in climate-smart agriculture - combining mitigation and adaption strategies while ensuring food security – I can provide a relevant contribution to the discussions leading to the COP26.
