Research interests

I coordinate the BEIS and CIFF-funded £4.8m 16-institution consortium on the Economics of Energy Innovation and System Transition (EEIST), which involves developing new economic thinking (complexity science-based) models for informing climate policy in India, China, Brazil, the UK and EU, working with BEIS and the FCO.

My interests are in climate policy and policy appraisal/impact assessment, macroeconomics, energy systems modelling, decarbonisation scenarios, and my expertise lies in innovation scholarship, technological change and macroeconomics.
