Research interests

I have a general background in environmental law, especially climate change and waste. My current research examines the ways in which food waste is framed as a legal and policy problem. As part of this work, I am an ESRC Parliamentary Academic Fellow, working with the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) to support scrutiny of Government interventions to manage food waste in the context of broader climate and food security challenges. I’m also interested in the relationship between environmental law, company law, regulation and tortious liability. I explore this in my forthcoming monograph, Corporations, Responsibility and the Environment (Hart Publishing).
