Dr Jennifer Miller

Jennifer has a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, where she then went on to obtain her PhD under the supervision of Dr Henrik Gollee. Throughout her PhD, her research focused on the use of ultrasound imaging to characterise muscle structure and function following a spinal cord injury. She is currently working as a Research Associate for the University of Glasgow, investigating the use of abdominal stimulation to reduce respiratory complications and assist ventilator weaning. Her interests include functional electrical stimulation for use in rehabilitation and methods of assessing and monitoring recovery in spinal cord injury.
