‘Home Hame Дом Dom’ is a creative learning project for everyone who lives in north Aberdeenshire.
‘Home Hame Дом Dom’ is a creative learning project for everyone who lives in north Aberdeenshire. It is an international exploration of being at home and being a long way from home. It aims to build a sense of community between newcomers to Aberdeenshire and those who have lived there for a long time; to create opportunities for people to get to know each other, to break down social barriers and forge new links; to help participants to improve language skills, gain greater understanding of shared culture, increased confidence and stronger social networks. The need for this project was identified as part of SSAMIS research carried out in the area in 2015-2017.
