Buchanan Bus Station is situated in the city centre. It is possible to travel from the bus station to the West End of the city (where the University of Glasgow and its residences are based) by underground from Buchanan Street (check at Buchanan Underground Station which route is best). Alternatively, a number of local bus services run to the West End. Check with the bus station for routes and times. A taxi from Buchanan Street to Kelvinhaugh Street will cost approximately £5 - £7.
