Research title: Leva-LAMP’ - strategic use of levamisole for sustainable parasite control

Research Summary

My main research interests are molecular diagnostics, particularly isothermal amplification technology such as loop mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), and their application in point of care diagnosis for resistance and in resource limited settings. I also am interested in developing and integrating amplicon sequencing into diagnostic protocols to improve resistance surveillance and track resistance emergence particularly for resource limited settings. I am particularly interested in a one health perspective and improving human and animal health and food security through molecular diagnostics.
