Principal is knighted at the palace

The Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University Professor Sir Anton Muscatelli formally received his knighthood in an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Thursday 23 November. Prince Charles bestowed the honour on Sir Anton.

The Principal said, "I was absolutely delighted to receive this honour. It was a great privilege to meet Prince Charles and to share what was a very special day with my family.

"In many ways though this an award for the hard work and commitment from colleagues, students and alumni from the whole of the University of Glasgow as much as it for me.”
