Application Round – October to December 2019:

After you have submitted your application
The Study Abroad and Exchanges (SAE) team will notify you of the outcome of your application and provide instructions about how to accept or decline your place.
|February / March||
International Exchange applicants: apply to your partner institution (partner deadlines apply)
|March / April||
Erasmus+ programme will be nominated to their partners. Following the nominations, students will be contacted by the partner to begin their applications.
Erasmus only: you will be required to complete an Online Learning Agreement. Details will be available on Moodle.
Pre-departure event - you will be contacted with details on this nearer the time.
Erasmus only: students starting their exchange over the summer will be issued with a Grant Contract to review, sign and return to the SAE team.
|June / July||Following the exams in June, your place on the Go Abroad programme will be confirmed. Please note that if you have any resits, this may jeopardise your exchange.|
|August||Erasmus only: Students starting exchange in September will be issued with their Grant Contract to review, sign and return to the SAE team|
|Summer / September||Enjoy your time abroad!
International Exchange students: complete arrival survey to inform the SAE team that you have arrived
Erasmus: complete start documents as required
|October||Welcome back event for returning students
Share your experience and inspire the next generation of study abroad students
– January to March 2020: reserve places and summer opportunities
|January / February||
If you were not offered a place in the first round, you will be automatically entered into the 'Reserve Place' round of applications. The places on offer will be those that were not selected in the main round, or declined places by other students.
The SAE team will send instructions to students included in this round and a list of available places will be published on Moodle
For students who would like to apply for Summer School or Summer Traineeship opportunity. A list of available Summer Schools will be published on the Go Abroad for summer page and guidelines for traineeships will be available on Moodle.
Applications will close and offers will be issued to students, along with instructions of how to accept or decline your place.
