Do you want to pursue poverty alleviation goals with entrepreneurial zeal but also have the business savvy to innovate and overcome traditional practices? Are you feeling inspired?

The event

Join us for our March First Tuesday Club to hear from Social Bite’s Co-Founder and Director, Alice Thompson and learn how she took the idea of Social Business and has used it to transform the lives of the homeless community, addressing many of the social challenges that are traditionally the responsibility of the public services or charities.

About Social Bite

Social Bite believes in a Scotland where homelessness is no longer a part of our society. In 5 years Social Bite has went from one small shop and 8 staff to eight units and 100 staff. They went from a simple mission to give the profits away to charity, to employing, feeding and creating a village especially for the homeless.

This is an opportunity to hear a unique story and uncover entrepreneurial spirit entwined with powerful social change.
