Nick Kamenos

For developing a personalised suite of support-mechanisms to aid colleagues applying for NERC grants.  Dr Nick Kamenos (School of Geographical and Earth Sciences) has led the development of two University-wide schemes to support colleagues applying for NERC-pointing Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) and demand managed research award‌s.

 

Faye Hammill

For establishing and running an informal grant-writing group, in which early-career and more experienced colleagues meet to peer-review grant applications and offer constructive feedback in an informal, supportive, and collegiate environment.

Amy Nimegeer

For promoting a supportive and dynamic research environment through the implementation of several research- and professional development- related activities.  

Lilach Sheiner and Angela Bradshaw

For establishing and running the Network for Early Career Researcher Development (NERD), with over 250 members.
