Postdoc Careers Lunches - The First Tuesday of Every Month

Don’t leave career planning to the last minute.  Come along to our first Tuesday of the month careers workshop in the PGR training room on the 1st floor of no. 11 the square. (Note that this venue is only accessible by stairs - please get in touch if this poses a problem for you). 
These are an informal chance to meet other postdocs over a free lunch and hear about a variety of post-postdoc career opportunities.

LONGER EVENT - 3 March 2020, 10.30am to 12noon (followed by lunch):  Making the most of your postdoc, a session with Robin Henderson (My Consultants) on developing and demonstrating your research leadership capacity.

7 April 2020 12noon-1pm- Linsey Robertson, Research Support Manager, College of Science and Engineering.  Linsey has moved from a PhD in organic chemistry to use her skills in a variety of career contexts. These include working as a science researcher for the BBC, working for the Royal Society of chemistry, and now working in her second research support role at UoG

5 May 2020 12noon to 1pm- Gemma Learmonth, Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellow (Psychology), Making a Fellowship application
