Susan Meikleham

After graduating in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Glasgow and working in the pharmaceutical industry, Susan has held various roles within Glasgow Science Centre from frontline delivery to development and management.  She has a flair for creating and delivering engaging activities for high school students and is a member of the Education Advisory Group for the Nuffield Council on Bioethics. Susan works closely with local education authorities, and the UK network of Science Centres to ensure that Glasgow Science Centre continues to support the Curriculum for Excellence and provides a hub for excellence in science communication.  As an experienced trainer, she delivers a series of ‘Inspire and Challenge’ science communication skills courses for scientists participating in GSC’s thriving ‘Meet the Expert’ programme.  Susan has managed a series of events bringing pupils together with scientists and engineers from industry and academia.
