The UofG's Campus Card Project has begun the first phase of a three-year project to upgrade access control infrastructure, standardising a single system across all University buildings.

As part of a continuing campus-wide initiative, the Campus Card has begun the first phase of a three year project to upgrade access control infrastructure, standardising a single system deployed across all University buildings.

Following upgrades to the University’s largest access control system last year – including key areas such as the Library, Main Building and sport facilities – this year’s installation programme includes a number of key sites across Gilmorehill and Garscube campuses, including the BHF Cardiovascular Research Centre, Sir Graeme Davies Building and Boyd Orr.

In addition to the 20 installations completed last year, work has recently been completed in the Thomson Building, Tay House, the School of Psychology and the new University Mailroom. Click here for the current installation schedule and full list of upgraded buildings.

Once installation has been completed at each site, you will need to use your new-format Campus Card to gain access to all secure areas. If you have lost your card or have any other queries, please consult our Frequently Asked Questions guide.
