International Student Support have re-launched the “My Story” competition for 2017-18. It aims to gather accounts of student’s experiences socialising, working, volunteering, making friends from different backgrounds or cultures and getting involved with the community during their stay in Scotland.

International students are invited to make and submit “Storyboards” detailing their time in Glasgow so far using text and images. This is the 3rd year that we have ran the My Story competition – you can see the entries from last year’s winners here:

There will be one “first prize” winner and 3 runners up selected. The prizes are:

 

• Highland Explorer Tours – 3 day Skye High Tour – 1st prize (donated by Haggis Travels)
• Student Tours Scotland day trip ticket or a Highland Cow / Nessie plush figure (you choose!) - 2nd prize (donated by Student Tours Scotland)
• £50 John Smith bookshop voucher – 3rd prize (donated by John Smiths University of Glasgow campus bookshop)
• University of Glasgow Sport hoodie (a modern-classic of campus apparel) – 4th prize (donated by University of Glasgow Sport)

Entries need to be submitted by the deadline of 22 Feb 2018 with the winners announced on 28t Feb 2018.
