Holly Scott, a PhD Student in Psychology and Graduate Teaching Assistant at UofG, has been awarded a prestigious place on the ACU Residential School Leadership Programme on Respect and Understanding at the Heriot Watt campus Malaysia on 18 - 21 December 2018.

Holly beat off stiff competition from 110 applicants to be successful in securing one of the 30 coveted places for the Leadership Programme.

The ACU has partnered with Heriot-Watt University and Common Purpose to deliver a leadership programme for 30 students from member institutions on the theme of respect and understanding. Students will be brought together in a diverse group to explore practical measures to promote tolerance and better intercultural relations at their home institutions and beyond.

James Conroy, Vice Principal for Internationalisation, said: "We are delighted to hear that Holly has won a place on the forthcoming ACU Residential School.

"We wish Holly well on this and hope she finds the experience rewarding and that indeed she can bring back what she has learned and share it with the UofG community."
