Do you want a chance to celebrate staff for all their hard work and dedication?

The Glasgow University Students' Representative Council is proud to announce that the annual Student Teaching Awards (STAs) nominations are now open here: www.glasgowstudent.net/stas

The STAs are an entirely student-led event which aim to celebrate learning and teaching at the University of Glasgow. The STA’s nominations close on 23 February 2018, and the awards ceremony will be held on 22 March 2018 in the Kelvin Gallery.

Fantastic opportunity

Hannah Todd, the SRC’s Vice President of Education says: ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for students to celebrate a variety teaching staff, student representatives and support staff, and the fantastic work they do. I would encourage students to nominate as many times as possible- they could also be in with the chance to come to the awards themselves!’

Frank Coton, Vice Principal of Learning and Teaching highlighted: “The Student Teaching Awards have gone from strength to strength over the last few years.  The SRC have done a terrific job in developing these and it is fantastic to see the contributions of colleagues from across the University being recognised by their students in this way.”

Students can get involved, and nominate as many times as they wish.
