On the 22 November 2017 the funding bodies announced their final decisions on the operation of the next Research Excellence Framework process, REF 2021. These are published on the REF 2021 website and cover the following points:
• Staff eligibility criteria
• Required number of outputs and impact cases
• Rules on output portability
