Academic Promotion 2017 launches, with applications due by 19th January 2018.
Dear Colleagues
I am pleased to advise that the Academic Promotions round for 2017-18 opens tomorrow, Wednesday 1 November.
Academic Promotion Timescales
Completed applications, including a statement from your Head of School/Director of Research Institute, should be scanned and submitted to the Performance, Pay and Reward team- hr-ppr@glasgow.ac.uk by 19 January 2018.

| College Promotion Committees | by 28 February 2018 |
| Committees to notify HR of outcomes | by 2 March 2018 |
| Initial Principal’s Board of Review | 20 April 2018 |
| Outcomes (final and prima facie) notified to all applicants | by 30 April 2018 |
| Final Principal’s Board of Review | by 22 June 2018 |
| Grade 9 and Professors notified of final outcomes | by 29 June 2018 |
| Effective date of promotion | 1 August 2018 |
