Learn more about Moodle

Published: 7 September 2017

LEADS are running lunchtime drop in sessions to answer your questions and show you the advanced features of Moodle.

Would you like to find out how you can make better use of Moodle to support your students’ learning? Do you wonder what Moodle can do, but don’t know who to ask? Writes Sarah Honeychurch, Good Practice Adviser, LEADS.

Maybe you’d like to find out about the possibilities for students to write collaboratively or to review each others’ work, or just find out what options there are in Moodle in general.#

Why not come along to the new LEADS lunchtime drop in sessions and talk to one of our Academic and Digital Advisers, who will be on hand to answer your questions and show you around the more advanced features of Moodle?

Beginning on Wednesday, 13 September LEADS will be holding weekly drop in sessions from 12:30 – 13:30 in JURA Training Room, Library Building, 4th Floor.*

As well as these face-to-face sessions, we will continue to provide a range of Moodle User Guides and are developing a How To Moodle course which will not only explain and demonstrate all of the tools, but also grow as a resource for educational use.

You can find out more from IT Services about the version of Moodle we use.

There’s no need to book onto these sessions, or to attend for the full hour – just turn up when you can and somebody will be there to help you.*

* On Wednesday 27 September there will be a LEADS CPD event on Moodle for Assessment and Feedback instead of the drop-in session, and booking is required for that session.
