ICT - acceptable use

All members of staff are asked to familiarise themselves with the Regulations for the Use of University ICT Systems and Facilities.

In particular, staff are reminded that accessing pornographic, criminal or offensive material is not permitted.

If a member of staff is suspected of using University systems and facilities to access illegal websites, such as child pornography, they will be reported to the Police.

Where staff require to access sensitive material as part of their academic work, they are asked to clear this in advance with their Head of School / Director of Research Institute.
