‌‌GCRF SMALL GRANTS FUND

The Scottish Funding Council awarded £743,813 to the University of Glasgow (UoG) to be spent in 2017/18 on GCRF initiatives. The GCRF Small Grants Fund is an internal competitive scheme, which will allocate this funding to a range of projects across the University.

Approximately 20 projects, of a maximum value of £50k will be allocated under the fund. All funding must be spent by 31st March 2018 at the latest, with no possibility for project extension.

Full details of the funding is provided in the guidance document provided below, together with the application form. The scheme is intended to support teams, wherever possible working across the remit of two or more research councils, and including partners in ODA recipient countries, to develop partnerships and projects to target large scale, external GCRF funding calls. This may include network strengthening activity, e.g. travel for UK teams to ODA recipient countries to co-develop research agendas, and research activity.

Please note that the deadline for submissions is 9am, Monday September 18
