Campus Card Project – Sports Upgrade

Published: 5 June 2017

The University's new Campus Card project reaches the finishing line soon with the upgrade of sports facilities.

The Campus Card project completes its installation work this week as the sports facilities at both Gilmorehill and Garscube Campuses are upgraded to the new access control system. Once the work is complete, all members will need to use their Campus Cards to gain access – old ID cards will no longer work.

From the afternoon of Tuesday 06 June, all staff and students will need to use their Campus Cards at both the Stevenson Building and Garscube Sports Complex - your sports membership will carry across to your new card. Sports members who are not staff or students will be given a new-format card on their next visit.

All staff and continuing students should have now received their Campus Cards. If you have not received your Campus Card – including graduating students who wish to continue using the library and sports facilities over the summer – please see below:

Students

Visit the Campus Card Support Desk at Accommodation Services (Fraser Building, Level 1). The support desk will be open weekdays, 10am-2pm. If you are unable to be on campus during these times, please fill out our student card request form.

Staff

If you have not yet received your Campus Card, please visit the University Library reception desk. This service is available weekdays, 09:30am-4:30pm.

If you have any other queries about your Campus Card, please contact the team by email at it-campuscard-team@glasgow.ac.uk.
