2018 Diversity Calendar Launch

Following the popularity of last year’s University Of Glasgow Diversity Calendar, the 2018 version has been launched.

Following the popularity of last year’s University Of Glasgow Diversity Calendar, the 2018 version has been launched.

This new calendar is only available as an online downloadable version and covers January to July 2018. This is as a result of the decision to move to an academic-year version from August 2018.

Created by the Equality and Diversity Unit, working closely with various Student Services teams, Students’ Representative Council, and the FemEng student society amongst others this year, the calendar is a useful guide, listing key University dates as well as special days including national and international celebrations and commemorations, and marks days that have special significance for faiths and beliefs.

Our 2017 Diversity Calendar has even reached across ‘the pond’ as it was recently highlighted as an ‘outstanding’ example and is to be included in the American Society of Association Executives online library of Models & Samples as part of a diversity and inclusion project.

Got an idea for 2018-19?

If you have an idea for monthly content or an image for the 2018-2019 calendar that you think captures the University’s diverse community and its work, or promotes respect and understanding between people, please email the Equality and Diversity Unit on equality@gla.ac.uk

Please note, images must be in landscape format and of a high resolution. Where images feature people, the photographer must seek their permission before submitting the image. The EDU reserves the right not to use images submitted. Any images used will be credited.
