New World-Changing Research Web Pages

Published: 16 June 2017

New web pages which present six University areas of cross-disciplinary strength in research and impact have gone live.

On Wednesday 31 May 2017 our new World-Changing Research web pages went live in the new University website design. The web pages present six University areas of cross-disciplinary strength in research and impact, writes Laura Tyler, Research Communications Manager.

The six areas:

-          Addressing Inequalities

-          Cultural & Creative Economies

-          Future Life

-          One Health

-          Precision Medicine & Chronic Diseases

-          The Nano & Quantum World

Colleagues in RSIO, External Relations and the Colleges have worked together to take forward the initiative and deliver engaging content which highlights research excellence and impact in these areas. The new research content is a step forward in how we articulate what we do well at Glasgow, helping us raise the profile of our research with our key audiences, including prospective staff and students, research partners, policymakers and funders, and the media.

The team will continue to develop new content around these cross-disciplinary areas to highlight the breadth of excellence across the four Colleges; creating case studies, features and images, which will be available for everyone across the University to use in their communications.

To help you use this new content in your communications you can access PowerPoint slides, key facts, images, and FAQs by visiting our new research communications webpage.
