Online programme offers an array of events for all ages

The 13th Glasgow Science Festival programme has been launched online, with a fantastic array of events for all ages.

From 6-16 June, the festival will allow members of the public to explore the research that’s shaping life on Earth, through talks, art, film, experiments, family days and more.

Don’t miss science festival regulars like Science Sunday and a flagship weekend in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. University of Glasgow PhD students will lead hands-on, family events at the Kinning Park Complex and Botanic Gardens.

This year’s festival theme is "Glasgow STEAMS Ahead!", linking with steam-engine innovator James Watt who kick-started the industrial revolution and died 200 years ago. "STEAMS" encompasses not only Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics – but also the inspiring Arts and Social Sciences research that shapes our city.
