EU Settlement Scheme Update

Published: 7 February 2019

A further pilot phase of the EU Settlement Scheme is now open for applications

A further pilot phase of the Home Office EU Settlement Scheme is now open, and full details of how to apply can be found online on the Home Office website.

You will require a biometric passport or biometric residence card or permit to apply via this pilot phase. Children and family members are now also eligible to apply. The application process requires the use of an android device, which can read biometric data. Recognising that many staff may not have access to such a device the University has android tablets available with the required app downloaded to assist you with your application as appropriate. Access to these devices is by appointment using the Doodle poll available on the EU Staff Information Webpage.

Your close family members may access the devices accompanied by you. Please make a separate appointment for each family member allowing 15 minutes per applicant to complete the ID verification stage of the process. The second stage of the application may be completed online.
