Survey had highest response rate ever

Callum Williamson, the UofG's Business Development Manager Commercial Services, has thanked everyone who took part in the 2018 catering survey.

There were 3087 responses altogether - the highest response rate to a catering survey the University has ever received.

Among the findings of the survey are:

  • Respondents would like to see catering provide more Italian, vegetarian and street food options;
  • Price and quality are the two key determining factors when deciding where to eat;
  • Respondents would like to see lower-priced food which is of higher quality;
  • More than half - 57% - of respondents said they would be happy to wait between three and five minutes to be served during peak trading hours.

"We will be using the infiormation to help shape decisions within catering and we will keep you updated as we go," said Mr Williamson.
