Professor Bill Cushley appointed Assistant Vice Principal (International)

Professor Cushley will join External Relations on 1 April

Professor Bill Cushley, current Dean of Global Engagement for South and South East Asia, and Professor of Molecular Immunology in the College of MVLS, has been appointed as the University's new Assistant Vice Principal (International); he will join External Relations in this capacity as of 1 April.

Professor Cushley will undertake the role on a 0.8FTE basis, retaining some teaching within the School of Life Sciences.  He has a significant amount of experience in the area of international partnership development with both HEIs and industry, has long supported international student recruitment with the University's regional teams, and is very well connected both within and outside of the institution.
