Binding: Scotland, 19th-century half black morocco, marbled paper sides;  marbled endpapers;  gilt-edged leaves;  binder’s stamp on front free endpaper “MacLehose, Glasgow”.   Size:  209 x 148 mm.

Annotations: Occasional brief marginal annotations and “nota” marks in an early hand.
Decoration: Three-line initial “E” on a2r and four-line initial “U” on c5r supplied in red;  paragraph marks and capital strokes supplied in red throughout;  occasional underlining in red.
Imperfections: Wanting the blank leaf d6.
