Binding: Italy (?), 17th-century limp vellum, title written on spine (with decorative pen-work below – possibly incorporating faded initials);  remains of two ties;  rear cover repaired.   Size 208 x 148 mm.
Leaf size: 202 x 142 mm.
Annotations: 1/2 to 6/6 foliated in ink in an early hand “1” to “43”.   On 1/1v the title “Putheolorum mirabilia” written in ink in an 18th-century hand.
Decoration: On 1/2r a four-line initial “E” is supplied in dark blue and decorated with red pen-work extending into the margin;  all other initials supplied in alternate red and dark blue and in each case a small guide-letter has been supplied in black ink in the margin.
Imperfections: None.
