William Euing (1788-1874), insurance broker, Glasgow:  purchased from Knight 18 Apr. 1860 according to Euing’s pencil acquisition note with price code on verso of front free endpaper “18.4.60 Knt ai/” together with his inventory number “674”;  source confirmed in Euing’s acquisitions inventory (University of Glasgow Library, MS Euing 49).
