Binding: 15th/16th-century blind-tooled calf over wooden boards, rebacked with thin parchment with remains of a manuscript title on spine;  covers decorated to a two panel design formed by intersecting fillets and further decorated with several separate stamps including two different circular flower-head stamps and one rosette, four different lozenge-shaped fleur-de-lys stamps, and an unidentified (worn) rectangular stamp;  evidence of a now lost title label on front cover;  remains of two chased brass clasps, catch plates on front board;  parchment strips from a late medieval rubricated manuscript used as guards.   Size: 210 × 146 mm. 
Leaf size: 202 x 139 mm.
Annotations: Brief early marginal annotations on 10/8v (f. 80v) and 18/6r (f. 142r);  19th-century pencil number on rear pastedown “509” and a reference to Hain.
Decoration: Initial “P” supplied in brown ink on 1/1r.
Imperfections: Wanting gathering 4 (ff. 25-32).
